Tiger Woods is going for glory once again in the US Open at Pebble Beach Golf Links
Tiger Woods won the Masters, Brooks Koepka triumphed in the USPGA, and now both look like the men to beat during the US Open this week at Pebble Beach Golf Links.
The 119th US Open starts today at one of its most iconic venues, on the glorious Monterey Peninsula in California.
Koepka is bidding to win the US Open for the third year in succession, having also won the last two USPGA Championships too.
But Woods, bidding for his 17th major, and Rory McIlroy, going for his fifth, are among the favourites to win this week and ready to end Koepka’s incredible run.
A field packed full of potential champions also includes the likes of Justin Rose, Dustin Johnson, Jordan Spieth, Tommy Fleetwood, Phil Mickelson and Graeme McDowell, who returns after winning this championship the last time it was hosted at Pebble Beach in 2010.
The first tee time is a 2.45pm BST and the action continues well into the night, with McIlroy among the early starters and Woods and Koepka out later in the day.
