On Saturday 2nd February 2019, Wembley Central Masjid had terminated Imam Abdul Sattar’s employment contract. KBC at this moment of time does not know or have any certain reason to why Imam Abdul was sacked, we can only confirm that the information which was handed to us by our local reporters whom wished not to be named.
The following videos show the order of the ordeal:
As seen in the video dozens of worshippers including trusties and the imam’s are seen walking in to the shoe area when one member holding a blue folder held the door open and all of a sudden, when the imam walked through the door, the imam threw the folder in frustration as he was given his notice that his employment within Wembley Mosque was no more. Following this the imam proceeded to hold his finger to his lips, unfortunately there is no audio for us to know why, but following this shouting and violence broke out within the shoe area amongst worshippers and trusties which then proceeded to continue into the pray hall. This is just the beginning!
From one fight to another and in all the place you would think is the last place you would fight. A MOSQUE. Imam Abdul was seen being pushed into what was a fire exit with the new imam further away shouting hes not the imam. He can not pray here. A mosque is a place of worship regardless of what you have done everyone has the right to pray, but as we know by this new imam that he thinks that it is his own private property. Following the many assaults which took place with in the mosque. The Police were called.
Police were called to an assault involving 100 – 200 people. Dozens of police officers were dispatched to the mosque to hold back worshippers who protested outside. Some protesting their rights to read their prays as it was zhur time and some protesting the forceful removal of the imam Abdul Sattar.
It is still unknown to why the imam was removed, but from the footage shown it looked like a very emotional parting.
