Mikel Arteta rues Arsenal’s blunt completing vs Benfica as Aubameyang misses ‘largest probabilities’

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta says his side were not ruthless enough as they were held to a 1-1 draw by Benfica in the first leg of their last-32 Europa League tie. The Gunners came from behind to draw in Rome, with Bukayo Saka giving them a crucial away goal and cancelling out Pizzi’s penalty for Benfica. Arsenal, however, could have won the game and they missed several good chances to head to Athens next week – which is their ‘home’ leg – with a commanding lead.
