Eric Hall dead: Legendary former football and showbiz agent dies aged 73

Legendary former football and show business agent Eric Hall has died at the age of 73. As one of the first high-profile agents and known for his “monster monster” catchphrase, Hall was a colourful and entertaining celebrity figure in football in the 1980s and 90s. After a chance meeting with Tottenham legend Steve Perryman, he represented many players including Neil ‘Razor’ Ruddock, Robbie Savage, John Fashanu, Tim Sherwood, John Scales, Paul Walsh and Dennis Wise as well as former England manager Terry Venables, and also secured Gary Lineker’s first boot deal.
