Sir Keir Starmer has been involved in a “minor road traffic accident” involving a cyclist in north-west London, a spokesman for the Labour leader has said.
The cyclist suffered minor injuries after being struck by a car near The Grafton pub in Kentish Town on Sunday, The Sun reported.
Sir Kier spoke to police who had attended the scene and swapped details with the officer and the person involved, his spokesman said.
He added: ”Keir stayed at the scene until the ambulance arrived.
“Later that afternoon, he reported the incident to a police station in accordance with the law.
“Since the incident, Keir has also been in touch with the other individual involved.”
