Okaysou AirMax 8L Clinical Grade Air Air purifier: Tough Air Cleansing Gadget

Air purifiers are becoming a hot commodity as more of us work from home and want to make sure we have the best working and living environment for ourselves and family. The latest one I picked up to try for my home was the Okaysou AirMax 8L medical grade air purifier because it noted it was efficient at eliminating pet hair.

There are so many air filters out there with specific benefits or that fit certain room sizes. Here’s what I found when I put the Okaysou AirMax 8L to the test.

About the Okaysou AirMax 8L

The Okaysou AirMax 8L is an air purifier that includes a HEPA filter designed to capture and remove 99.97% of the air pollutants from the air around you. It uses two different filters, including the HEPA filter and a carbon filter.

Features and Specifications

The unit has three fan speeds, a sleep mode, and child-lock function. Other features include a timer function so you can run the unit for one hour, two hours, four hours, or even eight hours. There is an indicator light that also tells you when it’s time to replace the filters.

The air purifier is designed to circulate air in a room or area that measures up to 800 square feet. It has a noise level of less than 59 dB.

Pros and Cons

The pros include a thoughtful design, which includes a handle that makes it easy to move around. It’s also lightweight so I had no problem picking it up and moving it to a different part of the house.

I also like how easy it is to get into the unit for filter replacement. The buttons are all easy to understand and use. There is a low-light display, which means it didn’t create a distraction at night by giving off too much light.

Finally, it does a phenomenal job of filtering the air because it makes the air smell fresh.

The cons were that this is the loudest air purifier I’ve owned. That doesn’t mean it’s so loud it’s distracting, but I do notice it more. It does mean turning up the television louder if it’s in the same room. Other than that, it is an effective air purifier.

In the Box

The AirMax 8L Air Purifier comes loaded with the two filters so you don’t have to install these. In the box, you’ll also find a user manual, product review card, and five-year warranty card. You can use this to register your unit and provide feedback on the air purifier.

Where to Buy

Priced at a reasonable $118, you can buy the air purifier from the Okaysou website. Other places you can purchase it include Amazon and Walmart.

Final Thoughts

The Okaysou AirMax 8L did a great job in removing pet hair and dander from the air along with dust and other air pollutants. It is priced fairly for its ability to clean a larger area and does better than so many air purifiers that are at the same price point.

I would recommend this air purifier but suggest that you keep it for areas where you may not be working or sleeping. For example, we used the air purifier in the bedroom before going to bed and then turned it off so the fan and light wouldn’t interrupt our sleep.

But I want fresh air — so — I stuck on a slumber mask and opted to sleep in fresh, clean air.
