  • Marko Arnautovic to join Shangai SIPG after West Ham agreed £23million fee 
  • The Chinese club have offered a deal worth around £280,000 a week 
  • West Ham did not want him to disrupt team and may move for Maxi Gomez

West Ham have agreed a £23million deal with Shanghai SIPG for the sale of Marko Arnautovic.

The 30-year old has passed a medical but has still to finalise personal terms with Shanghai offering around £280,000 per week.

The deal should be completed over the weekend.

Manuel Pellegrini has agreed to the sale rather than risk Arnautovic becoming a disruptive influence in the dressing room and West Ham are trying to utilise the funds to bring in Maxi Gomez from Celta Vigo.

The Uruguay striker would prefer to join Valencia though West Ham have offered better personal terms.

Salomon Rondon at West Brom is an alternative target.
