Nov 6 (Reuters) – The U.S. Division of Justice has demanded paperwork associated with the transmission utilized in about 2 million of Ford Motor Co’s Fiesta and Focal point cars offered all over this decade, the Detroit Loose Press reported on Wednesday.
The newspaper bought a subpoena issued in April in Case No. 126 sooner than a District of Columbia grand jury inquiring for “all paperwork, communications and electronically saved data” on the subject of the corporate’s movements involving the DPS6 PowerShift transmission relationship again to 2010, the file mentioned. A Ford spokesman informed Reuters that it has cooperated with the Nationwide Freeway Visitors Protection Management (NHTSA) as to DPS6-related problems starting in 2014.
